Fascinated by the weird and bizarre, Summer developed her craft for character creation and storytelling at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts where she received a bachelor’s degree in animation and digital arts.
As a doll collector, Summer finds it easy to project personality onto the inanimate. Although her roots are in stop motion, it’s CG animation where she found she could fully bring her worlds to life.
Currently, Summer continues to work her CG muscles as a freelance generalist, because it’s the closest she could get to being Victor Frankenstein. She is also an adjunct instructor at FSU FILM, teaching an intro course in her area of specialty - lighting and texturing for animation.
Katie Limentato

Forever fascinated by the way things work and move, Katie soon gravitated to the art of character animation, for which she received a bachelor’s degree at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts.
Growing up in Champaign, IL with her four brothers, Katie was constantly captured by the art and story displayed in the video games that she played with her older siblings. Now, she seeks to be a part of the creation of media that affects others in the same way that it affected her younger self.
Whether it is character animation, crochet, or costume design (for which she contributes as a costume designer for Florida State University’s Student Circus) Katie has an unquenchable desire to create and bring ideas to life.
She is now a freelancer and Co-Founder of Witching Hour LLC.
